2021 Partner Opportunity



The Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.) was founded in 1968. The organization advances the sport through advocacy, outreach and an expansive tournament structure while connecting directly with the passionate community of bass anglers through its media vehicles. With the biggest bass on the biggest stage in the sport, Bassmaster continues to launch big dreams into reality. 


For years, our editors have delivered valuable instruction and tips for how to equip and get better at fishing from a kayak.  In 2020, we came full-circle and launched the B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak Series.  We invite you to become a partner with us as we continue to grow.

2020 HUK B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak Series Format

  • One Competition Day

  • Entry fee $250

  • Catch, Photograph, and Release (CPR)

  • The best five (5) fish make up a daily limit

2020 HUK B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak Series Payout (based on fields of 150)

  • Total per event — $30,000

  • 2020 HUK B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak Series (5 events) — $150,000

    • First place — $7,000

    • Final payout adjusted at percentage of 150 boats (+/-) of actual field size

Who qualifies for 2021 HUK B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak Series Championship held in conjunction with the 2021 Bassmaster Classic?

  • The Top 20% or 20 anglers (whichever is greater) from each national regional

  • The Top 10% or five (5) anglers (whichever is greater) from each state B.A.S.S. Nation that holds B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak State Championship

  • Any angler that fishes four (4) of the five (5) national regionals



  • B.A.S.S. Times promo ad plus articles following each tournament

  • Bassmaster promo ad plus season wrap-up special section

  • via ad campaign plus Kayak Series hub page, photo galleries from events, and leaderboard results

  • Series eblast promo plus geo-targeted eblasts before each tournament

  • Promoted via announcements at Elite and Nation tournaments, press campaign, Classic Expo space and more

  • Classic Directory/Map:  One page promotion in the Classic directory exclusively promoting the Kayak Series including the schedule and sponsors. 10,000 directories will be printed.



  • Logo in promotions (Bassmaster ad, B.A.S.S. Times ad, four eblasts)

  • Logo on Kayak Series partner page and event leaderboards

  • 1/3 page ad in Bassmaster magazine special section series wrap-up

  • Logo on jumbotron at awards presentation at the Classic and logo on signage at all other awards ceremonies plus logo on signage at registration for all events

  • Opportunity to provide product samples, prizes or coupons to competitors at event registrations

  • Recognition in all press releases related to the series

  • Opportunity to distribute press release/information in the Classic Media Room

    • The Media Room at Classic hosts 250+ general media, who use it as a combination work space/snack spot, and meet with anglers after weigh in (separate from the room where press conferences are held).

  • Tournament logo usage rights; MotorGuide may produce signage using Kayak Series logo to use in your Expo space

Partnership Investment

$15K Kayak Partner Fee

Plus, $25K minimum B.A.S.S. media* commitment

*Media spend may not include Expo space
